I am now moved into the cob house. It has been (and continues to be) a huge process of sorting through my possesions and giving away/selling/burning what I do not need, so as to be able to fit as much as possible of what remains into the dwelling. I built a variety of shelves to put things on. My clothes pretty much all fit onto some little shelves at the back of the sleeping loft. The books, after several trips to Powells's to sell them, nearly all fit. I consolidated most of my CD collection into an album book, a long process involving removing all the CD's and their liner notes (including the back page) from their plastic jewel cases. I normally like it when CD's come in non-jewel cases, cardboard or whatever, but those ones are impossible to consolidate. I now have a huge pile of useless, basically unrecyclable, jewel cases.
My single biggest project now will actually be to read a large pile of books I have been meaning to read but have not, then sell most of those.
